Combining expertise, innovation, and a global network, they guide their clients through the entire design and development process, from concept to final product, delivering cutting-edge, fully integrated solutions that accelerate product launches in the global market.To strengthen its internal team, our client is looking for a SUPPLY CHAIN TECHNICAL MANAGERRole and Responsibilities:Monitor and report any issues related to R&D, testing, scaling-up, production, filling, and assembly of turn-key supplied products from Italy and other European locations if necessary.Participate in pilot batches, filling tests, and production start-ups, documenting results, identifying potential criticalities, and providing insights or solutions for internal discussions.Supervise, support, and monitor the development of new molds for filling operations.Coordinate, oversee, and review S&C tests for bulk purchased from external suppliers for critical projects upon request.Prepare samples and perform Declared Net Content (DNC) tests.Identify and recommend new third-party suppliers for molds, support materials, and laboratory testing.Visit suppliers when necessary for urgent matters or local support.Provide updates to Sales, Project Management, and Product Development teams when required.Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely updates and problem resolution.Create and update an internal tracker to monitor ongoing supplier programs, milestones, activities, statuses, and results for US (West & East Coast) and EMEA projects.Provide a weekly schedule (at least one week in advance) to HR teams indicating off-site meetings and planned activities.Develop the Factory Score to evaluate the capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses of each assigned or new supplier/laboratory, both for ongoing and potential activities.Organize external Factory Audits with internal support.Support the Product Development and Innovation team in California by preparing and filling samples for the Global Collections with bulk/formulas sourced from the Italian Supply Chain.Reporting Line:Reports to the Supply Chain Director.Functional Relationships:Internal: Production Department, Sales-Account/Sales Manager, Project Managers, R&D/R&I, Procurement.External: International Clients, Suppliers, Testing Laboratories.Required Qualifications:Degree in technical/scientific disciplines or equivalent experience.Previous experience in Supply Chain roles, preferably in the cosmetic or pharmaceutical sector.Excellent command of the English language.Experience managing complex projects and working with multidisciplinary teams.Strong problem-solving and stress management skills.Knowledge of relevant regulations for supply chain and production management.Strategic analysis and decision-making capabilities.Soft Skills:Effective and efficient communication skills with all stakeholders involved in the processes.Ability to work in cross-functional teams.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Work Location:Near Crema (CR), Italy, with possible international travel.Work Schedule:Full-time, Monday to Friday.Contract Type:Direct employment as a permanent employee under the Chemical Industry CCNL (14 monthly salaries, meal vouchers worth €8 per working day).Compensation Package:The salary will be determined based on the seniority and academic background of each candidate and the outcomes of selection interviews and company evaluations (up to €60,000).Benefits:Possibility of a company car for mixed personal/professional use.Il presente annuncio è rivolto a candidati di entrambi i sessi, i quali possono consultare l'informativa sul trattamento dei dati personali (art. 13 del Reg.
