Job Description
The EHS Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment that adheres to legislative standards and stays up-to-date with evolving Health and Safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Identify potential hazards and assess workplace risks.
* Develop, implement, monitor, and update the prevention and protection plan in collaboration with position evaluators.
* Create and evaluate training programs to ensure knowledge retention.
* Establish areas requiring occupational health and safety signs, develop instructions, procedures, and other EHS documents, and check alarm, warning, emergency, and safety signaling systems.
* Participate in research and document work events, collaborate with external specialists for coordination of prevention and protection measures, organize practical exercises to test intervention and evacuation abilities, and obtain necessary authorizations as per prevailing legislation.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
* At least 2 years of experience working in a similar position.
* Nice to have: experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
