Primary Objective of Position: The Technical Service Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our products. They are responsible for performing planned maintenance activities, hardware and software upgrades (TSBs), and providing backup first-line level one service. Additionally, they assist with instrument installations and deinstallations. Major Accountabilities: First-Line Service: Respond promptly to customer service requests, addressing issues that require less than 4 hours of labor time. Planned Maintenance: Schedule and perform planned/predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) activities to keep our systems running optimally. Hardware and Software Updates: Document and execute TSBs related to hardware and software upgrades. Installation and Deinstallation: Assist with instrument installations and deinstallations as needed. Performance Metrics: Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction scores (NPS), achievement of service key performance indicators, and district-level economic growth and profitability. Travel: This is a field based position in LOMBARDIA. Education: Proven experience. A degree in medical, electrical, mechanical, biology, or biomedical technology is preferred. Fluent Italian and intermediate English level. Background: Proven track record in a similar position, supported by management and customer references. Successful engagement with customers, particularly lab staff. Technical expertise related to the product line. Strong communication skills. Ability to identify and drive issue resolution. Proficiency in analytical tools and software. Good computer skills.
