Materials Process Quality Assurance EngineerOfficina Stellare is a leading player in the production of opto-mechanical systems, focusing on the implementation of innovative mechanical solutions. The MATERIALS PROCESS QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER role is responsible for ensuring the qualification of materials and processes used in the production of these systems. This position requires a proven ability to understand technical requirements and work closely with the project team and the Product Assurance function. We are looking for candidates who can handle challenging situations with a positive, proactive approach, focused on achieving the assigned objectives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDraft the Materials Qualification Plan in collaboration with the Product Assurance function, scheduling test activities both in internal facilities and external laboratories;Define material and process control plans and input the information into the company ERP system;Keep the list of qualified materials and processes up to date, supporting the Project Product Assurance in managing Non-Conformities or material and process anomalies;Participate in internal Material and Processes Control Boards as well as meetings with clients;Conduct failure analysis for Non-Conformities related to materials and processes.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of technologies: metallurgy, welding, surface treatment, composite materials, ceramic materials, bonding processes, painting, additive manufacturing, acid etching, crimping, cleaning processes, etc.;Background in Quality Assurance, industrial production, or certified laboratories;At least 3 years of experience in managing laboratory tests;Experience in sectors where ISO17025 certification is required;ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONContract: permanentWorking time: full time, in presence onlySeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing
