Profile Work experience as Pizzaiolo / Demi Chef de Partie Bakery or similar role in a restaurant or luxury hotel Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughs Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and brick/stone/electric ovens Understanding of food hygiene Team spirit Diploma from a culinary school / Hotel Technical Institute / Professional Technical Institute Eligible for a working permit in Italy Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment: Italian – good oral and written skills English – good oral and written skills Overall Objectives Preparing pizza dough, slicing and chopping toppings like vegetables and meats, and executing guests’ orders considering special requests. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with various pizza types and be available to work during business hours. You will help to increase guests’ satisfaction by preparing high-quality pizzas. Prepare pizzas out of our menu and based on guests’ orders Bake a wide variety of pizza doughs, including thin crust, thick crust, and cheese-stuffed Make fresh tomato, pesto, and white cream sauces Wash and chop vegetables (such as tomatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms) Cut, slice, and grill meats like chicken, ham, and beef Monitor food stock and place orders as needed Use traditional and non-traditional ingredients to appeal to a larger audience (such as vegan, cheese, and gluten-free flour) Recommend new recipes to update our menus Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment Work with Superior and Human Resource Manager to ensure the departmental performance of staff is productive Recycle wherever possible and enforce cost-saving measures to staff Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements J-18808-Ljbffr
