For a 5*L Resort in Tuscany, member of Leading Hotels of the World, we are currently recruiting for aGENERAL MANAGERThe position will report to the Group Director of Operations of the entire chain and will be responsible for:Drive and support motivation within the on-property team (most of them have been working there for over 20 years).Drive incremental revenues across all departments with key focus in Spa Thermal area as well as food and beverage.Drive consistency and quality standards throughout the year.Deliver the annual budget through the agreed commercial strategies.An entrepreneur yet an individual who will also work collaboratively with the wider leadership team.Key requirements:An exceptional leader with outstanding networking skills. A true host and gentleman. This skill is crucial since over 45% of guests are repeaters.Strong experience in luxury hospitality and sense of touch.A strong leader and hands-on operator with excellent people management skills, driving employee engagement and delivering the highest level of customer service.Strong resort operational experience.Strong understanding of operational functions and ideally of commercial functions.Strong entrepreneurial and finance acumen.Excellent organizational and planning skills.Strong experience within the Italian market.Highly desirable skills and qualifications:A good knowledge of the spa and ideally thermal market.Prior experience within these markets: Russia, USA, GCC.Proven track record in client negotiations and account strategizing.
