We are looking for an Application Engineer to design, develop, and deploy our advanced robotic cells to our clients (end-users using robotic systems for their production) and partners (system integrators using our platform to develop their robotic cells). As an application engineer, you will be responsible for virtualizing, simulating, and developing processes for robotic cells to perform packaging, pick & place, machine tending, assembly, and quality control applications, among many others. You won’t get bored; of that you can be sure. In addition, you will be our eyes and hands when deploying our software at our client locations (within Italy). Location: Brescia – partially remote (Starting with > 60% in office) Main Responsibilities Collaborate with the mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic engineering teams on the development of advanced robotics processes. Virtualization and simulation of such processes. Perform risk-analysis, error-handling, time analysis of robotic cells to be produced. On-site software deployment and commissioning at our clients and partners locations (within Italy for now). Requirements Either 1-3 years of experience in integrating industrial robotic systems in productive settings or >5 years in research and strong willingness to switch from demo to production mode. Willing to travel. More than 3 years’ experience in Python programming. More than 2 years’ experience in ROS/ROS2. Passionate about innovation and in bringing automation into SMEs.
