The Gritti Palace is currently recruiting for a Sales Intern.
The successful applicant will be tutored by the Dir. Of Sales and she/he will be part of a Sales department.
It is a full-time internship (40-hour working week made of 8 hours per 5 days and 2 days off).

What you’ll do
The purpose of the Internship is to give the Intern an overview of the Company and Hotel organization and understand the role of the different departments.
Within the specific department, the Intern will shadow and actively support the Tutor in order to acquire professional skills. In particular:
* Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
* Check availability of accommodations and dates to create a better Marriott experience or event, including finding alternative dates or options if first choice is not available, recognizing opportunities to up-sell the customer and sell enhancements.
* Manage mailing list/database
* Work on “Sales Presentation” and sales reports
* Maintain guest loyalty to Marriott implementing new members for Marriott loyalty programs.
* Support Team Sales in back-office activities.
* Follow sellers during a site inspection to improve sales modalities and customer service
* Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly
What we’re looking for
* Bachelor/Master Degree in Hospitality or humanities
* Fluent written and spoken English and Italian
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Passion for luxury hospitality
* Team Work, communication and problem-solving skills
* Can-do attitude along with strong motivation and enthusiasm
* Positive outlook and outgoing personality
