In this role, we can offer a full-time role, with flexible working arrangements, such as hybrid working up to 40% of the time, adjusted working hours, and other alternative working patterns.As a Legal Counsel, you will be part of the Corporate Legal department and will report to the Senior Legal Counsel Central South Europe.Key responsibilities:Supporting the legal team with timely advice on all matters related to legal affairs including but not limited to contracts, commercial, governance, and regulation.Providing professional support and advice to the Head of Legal - CSE as required.Ensuring that the legal documents and other contractual documents are effectively drafted, reviewed, interpreted, and vetted.Providing proactive legal assistance and advice on various legal issues like commercial contracts, dispute resolution, government agreements, regulatory, employment, and governance.Supporting Head of Legal - CSE and external resources in the application of required permits and licenses for the business unit, ensuring permits and licenses are kept up to date and complying with relevant local, regional, and national laws.Assisting and, on request, acting as liaison with local, regional, and national authorities for any matters and clearances related to the construction and operation of the business unit.Assisting the business in compliance with all various legal requirements.Advising on minimal liability and legal exposure for the business.Managing, on request, external legal resources.Advising and ensuring the business in compliance with the necessities of legislation involving privacy law and data protection.We Are Looking For:University degree in law.2 years relevant experience preferably in the port sector, infrastructure of transport, and logistic industry.Solid experience and knowledge in regulatory matters and general corporate and commercial legal issues.Professional proficiency in English. Italian language at mothertoungue level.Ability to work independently and a team player with the local team to find creative solutions to complex issues.Strong written and oral communication and analytical skills.Ability to grasp complex areas of law rapidly and accurately.Exhibiting sound practical judgment.Ability to equilibrate priorities and organize work effectively to meet deadlines.Self-starter, hands-on, good communicator (able to explain complex legal issues to non-legal people), empathy, personal tact.Location: Vado Ligure.We are not providing VISA and relocation support for this role.If you have been reading so far, we are glad to see you are interested!
