Develop multi-layer PCB designs optimized for space applications, considering constraints such as size, weight, and thermal management. Integrate and interface PCB with sensors, cameras and mission-specific technologies. Collaborate on hardware-software co-design tasks to optimize system performance. Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analyses during the design phase. FPGA Architecture and Development: Design, implement, and validate FPGA-based solutions for spaceborne systems. Optimize FPGA architectures for performance, reliability, and power efficiency. Simulation and Testing: Use SPICE and similar tools to simulate circuit designs and validate performance before prototyping. Develop and execute test plans to ensure hardware reliability under space-like conditions. Reliability and Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet reliability requirements for long-duration missions in extreme environments. Collaborate on the development of quality assurance procedures and standards for PCB manufacturing and assembly. Software and Firmware Integration: Collaborate on firmware development for microcontrollers and FPGAs to enhance the functionality of designed hardware. REQUIRED SKILLS: Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering. Relevant profile with a Master’s degree in Aerospace, Telecommunication or Automation Engineer will also be evaluated. 2 years of experience in PCB design and integration, preferably for space or high-reliability applications. Proven experience with FPGA architecture and development, including design, simulation, and validation. Familiarity with RF design principles and integration is highly valued. Knowledge of ECSS standards or experience in the space technology field are not mandatory but will be considered an advantage. Technical Skills: Expertise in PCB design and layout for high-reliability systems. Strong skills in FPGA design and implementation. Basic or advanced knowledge of RF circuit design is a plus.
