For our Italian Team based in Rome we are looking for a Junior Project Developer to join our Development team.
The main Responsibilities are:
Project planning and initiation
Collaborate with the technical department for an initial screening of potential asset acquisitions or participation in SPVs.
Get involved into regulatory analysis to support business development team.
Undertake site visits to both new greenfield sites and projects under development.
Interact with different departments in the context of Due Diligence processes for acquisition or liquidation, with the support of advisors.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with the technical department to ensure the integration of the latest ESS technologies and best practices into projects.
Project Execution
Monitor project progress to ensure that projects are delivered according to timing and contractual terms.
Assist in the coordination and management of BESS and PV projects from the development stage to Ready To Build (RTB) status or during the construction stage
Follow up with developers to ensure that projects are delivered according to timing and contractual terms.
Prepare, review, or improve specifications and recommendations for EPC RfQ process for Energy Storage System and PV Plants & Evacuation Infrastructures, in collaboration with in-house and external resources.
Conducting analysis and review Energy Yield including grid connection impact for renewable projects at the initial stage
Contribute to the preparation of estimation and update project CAPEX, OPEX by obtaining information from external sources.
Review engineering studies, land feasibility, environmental impact assessments, and other technical documents related to the projects.
Provide regular project status updates and reports
Market intelligence
Stay aware of new technologies available in the market, such as batteries, hydrogen, or hybridization of PV and Wind, and assess their potential applicability to projects.
Follow up-to-date market regulations and governmental subsidy program related to energy storage systems and PV system.
Project closing
To support the liquidation process and involve negotiation by providing technical assistance.
Ensure all project documentation and deliverables are completed and handed over to clients.
Required qualifications are:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field
At least 1 year of experience as a project developer in the energy storage system and solar renewable sector
Knowledge of renewable energy systems, technologies, and industry best practice
Ability to work in cross-country and dynamic environments.
Fluent level of Italian and English is essential.
