We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data&AI Studio.
This Studio harnesses the power of data & AI to create new and better experiences and services, going above and beyond extracting value out of data and automation. Our aim is to empower clients with a competitive advantage by unlocking the true value of data and AI to create meaningful, actionable and timely business.
You will get the chance to:
* Design and develop data storage solutions;
* Create and manage data flows;
* Implement and manage data pipelines for processing and transforming data from heterogeneous sources;
* Collaborate with data architects and software developers to ensure data solutions' integrity, security, and scalability;
* Maintain detailed documentation of implemented architectures, pipelines, and procedures;
* Collaborate with the data development and analytics team to understand project requirements and define technical specifications.
What will help you succeed:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
* Proven experience in designing and developing data solutions, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure;
* Knowledge of cloud platform technologies, such as Google Cloud Dataflow, Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and others;
* Knowledge of Google Cloud Dataproc, AWS EMR, or Azure HDInsight;
* Advanced skills in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala);
* Familiarity with data lake architecture and data governance principles;
* Ability to design and optimize data pipelines for high performance and scalability;
* Ability to work in an Agile development environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;
* Fluent English.
