RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Software Business Analyst to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Division.
Mission
The role is focused on supporting the business in defining technical requirements and software specifications. The ideal candidate will act as a link between the business and the Digital Team to ensure compliance with architectural constraints of applications developed internally within business units.
Key Accountabilities
• Conducts activities related to software application analysis
• Participates in drafting the logical and application design of the system.
• Participates in system installation both in the testing phase and in production
• Researches new instrumental resources (hardware and software) aimed at continuous improvement of activities
• Collaborates in managing the available instrumental resources, consistently with project objectives
• Investigates new technologies and proposes to the Digital team the election of internally developed components within business units as "common components"
• Supports the business in guiding the development of new digital solutions by external vendors • Develops "Proofs of Concept" to highlight business needs, provide initial access to the platform in a configured environment for the client, and demonstrate platform adherence to collected requirements. #LI-AC2
Education
High School Diploma/GED
Qualifications
• Knowledge of major software analysis and design standards (design patterns, frameworks).
• Knowledge of major software development methodologies (Agile technologies and continuous integration systems).
• Knowledge in software configuration management and major applications (GIT)
• Knowledge of internet network technologies and standards
• Basic knowledge of Python 3 programming language and associated frameworks
• Basic knowledge of web technologies HTML/JS, AJAX, JSON, REST
• Basic knowledge of Angular 2+ framework
• Basic knowledge of major DB technologies, particularly NO-SQL technologies (OODBMS)
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Proficient in English
