As part of its growth and expansion, Currie & Brown Italy is looking for a Project Manager in Milan.
The role: what is it that we want you to do:
* Support in managing the phases of the projects.
* Liaise with multiple stakeholders including property services, designers, contractors, and building management and security consultants.
* Lead the coordination of the design against the client’s design guides and constraints.
* Assuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player.
* Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control.
* Cost management services.
* Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner.
* Check work progress status (SAL) on time and on budget.
* Conduct meetings with contractors and clients.
* Manage procurement activities.
* Management and coordination of site activities.
What skills and attributes are we looking for from you:
* Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, project management, or equivalent.
* At least 3-5 years' experience in managing medium-volume projects in luxury developments (hospitality experience preferred).
* Experience in managing the permitting process and dealing with local jurisdiction.
* Good technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills (both internal and external).
* In addition to Italian, excellent written and spoken English required.
* Aptitude for teamwork, reliability, and flexibility.
