As Operator in Production, you will follow established procedures and guidelines by executing production orders assigned by the Supervisor and the Lead Production Operator to perform a variety of simple and manual tasks in the production process for our plant in Caronno Pertusella.
Reporting to Production Supervisor, you will:
* Operate designated machines and production equipment such as: blenders, sieves, spray drying systems, batching systems, multipurpose reactors, spinning cone columns, bulk tanks, Roxane robots, packaging systems, ovens, mills, distillation columns (stills), encapsulation systems. Common tasks include several of the following activities: blending, mixing, dispensing, packaging, heating, cooking, adding enzymes, compounding, filtering.
* Check the operating parameters of the machines, providing for their fine-tuning and regulation, also carrying out maintenance interventions.
* Select raw materials to be used, move them, and load them into production equipment.
* Use production worksheets to ensure that the correct quantities of materials are added in the correct sequence.
* Produce the product safely and in a timely manner according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality standards.
* Accurately read control instruments, prepare neat and accurate records for all operations as required.
* Troubleshoot problems under the guidance of a more experienced Operator or provide assistance.
* Assist in performing in-process quality testing to ensure customer specifications are met. Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
* Prepare product packaging for the next step in production or for final shipment to the customer according to department specifications.
* Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly shop floor and workplace at all times and complete all sanitation and housekeeping duties as required.
* Work in accordance with all relevant requirements, including but not limited to GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety guidelines.
Your professional profile includes:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* 1-3 years of experience in the production departments.
* Preferred experience in forklift operation.
* Basic skills in using a PC, preferably with MS Office products.
* Experience in using RF scanners and labelling.
* Team working oriented.
* Passion and flexibility in working.
