As Territory Manager reporting to the Regional Sales Manager Italy, you will be responsible for developing sales in your geographical area of competence (Piemonte, Val d'Aosta, Liguria, Toscana) for the Test & Measurement Business Unit.
Tasks
The role includes the responsibility of:
* Interfacing directly with customers and potential customers in the geographical area with the main stakeholders in the sector, proposing the wide range of scientific solutions of the 2 Business Lines, NDT (Not-Destructive Testing) and RVI (Remote Visual Inspection).
* Manage assigned sales territory, research, develop, and execute sales opportunities with customers and prospects in their respective territory and/or product line.
* Plan visits to customers and potential customers, autonomously prepare technical/commercial plans.
* Schedule commercial visits and product demonstration visits.
* Prepare written presentations, reports, and forecasts.
* Collaborate with the tender office in the management of tender procedures by providing commercial estimates and accompanying technical documentation.
* Collaborate with specialists in the pre-sales and after-sales phases, providing technical support in the product installation and training phases.
* Provide technical, commercial, and marketing information on the presence of competitors in the relevant geographical area.
Requirements
* Degree in Engineering, preferably master’s degree in Materials Science, or master’s degree in Physics or Chemistry.
* Previous experience of at least 4/5 years in similar commercial roles, preferably in the Non-Destructive Testing sector and in the market of scientific solutions in the industrial field.
* Knowledge of the main industrial stakeholders in the assigned territories.
* Good knowledge of the English language (written and oral expression, not less than an intermediate level B2).
* Experience in the use and management of CRM programs, in particular SalesForce, required.
* Strong commercial attitudes, good relational and problem-solving skills.
* Flexibility in working hours is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a view to achieving objectives.
