As a First Operator in Production, you will support and coordinate the production activities, guide and control the personnel teams, in compliance with company procedures for our plant in Caronno Pertusella.
Reporting to Production Supervisor, you will:
* Check and conduct designated machines and production equipment concerning the department. Common tasks include several of the following activities: blending, mixing, dispensing, packaging, heating, adding enzymes, compounding, filtering.
* Support and coordinate production activities by guiding and supervising teams of personnel.
* Request and supervise maintenance interventions, carrying out work preparation activities with the relevant signing of start and acceptance work permits.
* Complete production documents.
* Select raw materials to be used, move them, and load them into production equipment.
* Use production worksheets to ensure that the correct quantities of materials are added in the correct sequence.
* Produce the product safely and in a timely manner according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality standards.
* Accurately read control instruments, prepare neat and accurate records for all operations as required.
* Be able to troubleshoot basic problems independently and provide recommendations for correction.
* Perform in-process quality testing to ensure customer specifications are met. Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
* Prepare product packaging for the next step in production or for final shipment to the customer according to department specifications.
* Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly shop floor and workplace at all times and complete all sanitation and housekeeping duties as required.
* Work in accordance with all relevant requirements, including but not limited to GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety guidelines.
Your professional profile includes:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the production of flavors, ingredients, food, or chemical products.
* Preferred experience in forklift operation.
* Basic skills in using a PC, preferably with MS Office products.
* Experience in using RF scanners and labeling.
* Team working oriented.
* Passion and flexibility in working.
