We are now looking for a Sales Engineer / Specialist in Central Italy
Job Type: Full-Time remote work from home
Salary: Base salary with performance-based incentives
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Sales Engineer / Specialist to join our growing Italian team (currently 6 members). In this position, you will be driving sales in the assigned area, taking care independently of all relevant sales activities: like identifying and contacting new prospects, assessing their needs and matching them with our solutions, preparing and negotiating offers, follow up contracts and ultimately taking good care of the long-term relationship with our customers.
MagiCAD Group is the Europe’s leading Building Information Modelling software providers for the MEP (building services) industry. Now we are strengthening our operations in Italy to better serve the growing need of BIM solutions among engineering companies. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, results-orientated individual to join our MagiCAD sales team. MagiCAD is the most used BIM tool for MEP design in Europe and it is becoming more and more popular in Italy too. The opening requires working in a virtual team with remote colleagues, so being independent and self-organized is crucial to succeed in this position. We provide a unique opportunity to develop your skills and play a key role in the BIM transition of the Italian market. Through a casual but professional company culture with good opportunities for professional growth, we have been able to sustain an excellent employee retention rate. Our mission is to help create better buildings.
In short, the key responsibilities of the role are:
1. Manage independently all the phases of the sales pipeline to achieve the annual sales quota.
2. Plan, organise and participate in customer telecoms or in-house customer demonstrations.
3. Participate in commercial events, such as tradeshows and conferences.
4. Work remotely with a strong sense of self-motivation, commitment and ultimately under little supervision.
5. Cooperate closely with all the relevant internal parties and departments: sales, management, marketing, customer service and others.
6. Follow actively the market evolution and bring insights to the team.
7. Be willing to travel in Italy (up to 25% of the working time) and in Finland (2-3 times yearly)
We expect you to have:
1. A relevant degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related.
2. Experience in sales, ideally in software, technical or engineering.
3. Technical understanding: you are interested in software and engineering.
4. Problem-solving skills: you think creatively and find solutions.
5. Interpersonal skills: you are customer-oriented and have strong communication skills.
6. Native-level Italian and fluent English.
Preferred skills:
1. Experience with CRM software.
2. Knowledge of the Italian AEC market.
The above job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. You may be required to perform other relevant duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organisation’s expansion within the Italian market.
What MagiCAD Group offers you?
1. Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
2. As a growing company, we ensure that everyone can grow in their role.
3. Our mission is to help design and manufacturing companies create better buildings for people and the planet. Together, we create a more sustainable world!
4. An exciting role in a culturally diverse, rapidly growing international software company with a solid and loyal customer base.
5. At MagiCAD Group, we are proudly unique, and we understand that everyone has different needs. Feel free to tell us what's important to you.
6. A flat organisation and a relaxed and friendly working environment as you would expect from a Finnish company.
7. Besides working and learning together we also laugh together: as a MagiMaker you will share unforgettable moments both with your team and your colleagues from all around the world.
