The IT Area Lead is responsible for translating IT strategy for agile organization. The objective of this professional role is innovation and the improvement of IT in the strategic field and the standardization and improvement of IT processes. He / she contributes from the point of view of IT knowledge to the bank's strategy and is responsible for an IT architecture scaled on the Web within a high-performance culture and an agile organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Policy: Formulates a vision and strategy and develops policies for the focus area (or contributes to such development) and translates policies into objectives and develops roadmaps;
* IT services: Provides IT services and manages IT components. Analyses and solves problems in a structural manner. Successfully implements, based on requirements, changes to IT services aimed at improving the customer experience in a joint effort with the business;
* Process improvement: Manages IT processes and initiates improvements in the area of efficiency and IT service quality (processes and technology). Develops an approach based on best practices for systems, methods, tools and set-up;
* Networks: Builds and maintains an internal/external (international) network to amplify his or her own professionalism and create a platform and use it within the company. Attends relevant meetings and events;
* Risk Management, Compliance: Recognizes and manages process and technology risks (operational and IT risk) and ensures compliance. Actively raises awareness among staff;
* Financial: Prepares and manages a realistic long-term and short-term budget for the line, changes and externals. Actively seeks cost-cutting options;
* People Management: Makes planning and development agreements, coaches and assesses employees. Motivates and inspires employees. Ensures adequate staffing levels, which includes hiring and retaining talented staff. Supports employees in the specific field and creates a climate of learning and growing, and evaluates results and existing knowledge. Creates the required environment and enables employees to do their jobs well, both now and in the future;
* Organizational change: Manages change based on policy regarding organizational and cultural aspects;
* Knowledge acquisition and sharing: Stays on top of developments in the field and financial services, and applies these in policymaking and keeping knowledge levels up to date. Gathers, updates and spreads knowledge about developments and challenges regarding the field in question and embeds lessons learned and best practices.
