ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Accountant Assistant and Office Manager, you will report directly to the Executive Team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our financial and administrative operations. This hybrid role combines financial accounting responsibilities with general office management, offering a diverse and fulfilling work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting and Financial Administration:
1. Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records for Guild Living’s operations and activities.
2. Assist in processing invoices, payments, and payroll.
3. Monitor financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
4. Support the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and tax filings.
5. Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial consultants as needed.
Office Management:
1. Manage day-to-day office operations, including maintaining supplies and equipment.
2. Coordinate schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements for the Executive Team.
3. Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Oversee general administrative tasks, such as filing, correspondence, and office organization.
5. Support the implementation of office policies and procedures.
Other Duties:
1. Assist with special projects and initiatives led by the Executive Team.
2. Contribute to the positive and professional culture of the Guild Living team.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role.
2. Familiarity with Italian accounting standards and regulations is a plus.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
4. Flexibility and a helping attitude.
5. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
6. Fluency in Italian and English (spoken and written).
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
