PACE Engineering and IT, a TXT Group company, is looking for Avionic System Engineers to join its Aerospace & Aviation business unit for the integration of avionic systems in system design activities, for both military and civil platforms.
In this role, you will analyze specifications, create functional requirements, and proceed with the verification and validation for one or more avionic subsystems.
Main resposibilities:
Analysis and validation of avionic requirements;
Definition of requirements in accordance with the avionic architecture;
Support in the development activities of a new avionic system;
System architecture definition with model-based approaches (MBSE);
Customer interfacing.
Technical skills required:
Knowledge of the operating principles of avionic systems;
Familiarity with the main protocols used in the avionic field (e.g. ARINC 429, ARINC 661, MIL STD 1553);
Understanding of embedded systems and avionic standards (e.g., ARP4754A, DO-178B/C, DO-254);
Experience with requirement management tools (e.g IBM Doors, Polarion...).
Familiarity with MBSE tools (e.g. CAMEO, SCADE) and experience with system safety analysis methods and principles will be considered a plus.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering. Electronics Engineering or related fields.
The ideal candidate will also have a good command of the English language, strong teamwork skills, autonomy in work organization, proactivity and problem-solving abilities.
