The Industrial Controlling Manager for Louis Vuitton is responsible for providing strategic and Finance Controllership, for the manufacturing unit in Incisa Valdarno (Firenze), a key plant for the overall industrial activity of LV. The Industrial Finance Manager serves as a key business partner to the operating teams and leadership on site. The Industrial Finance Manager will help support manufacturing related initiatives, plant strategy, and profitability. The candidate will be the main point of contact for Finance on site and key counterpart for the Paris Headquarter reporting team.
The candidate will lead the Industrial Controlling Manager team on site and will report to the Head of Finance for Leather Goods & Accessories Business Unit.
Missions
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Be part of the extended site management team.
2. Effectively manage/lead/coordinate/develop a team of three direct reports.
3. Partner with the Workshop Director of site to provide pertinent data to establish Operational and Financial goal alignment and drive towards results.
4. Own the processes for developing manufacturing estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews on a weekly, monthly and annual cadence.
5. Ensure accuracy of the financial estimates. Monitor and analyze actual variances vs forecasted financials.
6. Drive profitable growth by providing financial analysis of results and reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions.
7. Support change management & continuous improvement. Drive change management initiatives as new systems are introduced; foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function and the whole organization.
8. Actively participate with manufacturing management to improve productivity and inventory management.
9. Lead cost improvement projects across various disciplines/departments and in the field: material costs, purchasing, production, etc.
10. Contribute to cross-disciplinary actions common to all Louis Vuitton sites, managed by our central industrial management control.
11. Provide Finance Controllership for strategic investments impacting the manufacturing unit, for example investment projects, insourcing opportunities, new products and support the Operational team with the strategic Capital Allocation process.
Profil
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
* Multiple years of relevant work experience in multinational companies in developing forecasts, operating plans and leading business and finance reviews in industrial companies in business partnering roles.
* Experience from manufacturing finance and understand concepts such as cost accounting, inventory, productivity, PPV, etc.
* Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems/applications (i.e. SAP, Power BI).
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Outstanding negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills essential for cross-functional integration and stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
* Ability to speak foreign languages is a plus (French, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian).
* Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives.
* Provide regular coaching and mentoring to team members.
