It has also been selected as the Official Supplier to 10 editions of the Olympic Games, from Sydney 2000 to Cortina 2026.Your RoleWe seek an executive leader to join our Operations Team at Technogym Village (Cesena, Italy) as the Head of the Global Logistics Department for the B2B and B2C Last Mile, who will report directly to the Global Order Fulfillment and Logistics Director.Your ImpactResponsibilitiesManage the demand planning process to develop sales forecasts (Sales Operation Plan)Manage the B2B logistics shipments and the B2C last mile Delivery and InstallationEnsure industrial plants can adjust their production in line with expected delivery trendsAssure linear logistics volumes working to reduce peaks and grant adequate capacity along the value chain (whs inbound and outbound capacity, as well as installation capacity)Define activities and policies for cost reduction in delivery and installation, ensuring high service quality and optimizing finished product stock levelsNegotiate national and international transportation contracts for centralized suppliers and national markets directly served by Technogym subsidiaries, in coordination with the purchasing office and subsidiaries' local operationsManage international carriers (road sea) to increase service level, reduce delivery time, and maintain high service standardsMonitor the correct setup of local subsidiaries' logistics operations in the various markets (domestic transportation, warehousing, and installation service)Supervise the proper management of finished product inventory at distribution centers located in the various markets where Technogym sales subsidiaries are presentDefine processes and guidelines for stock management, inventories, cycle count, and scrapping to ensure proper handling and segregation of various stock types in different marketsMonitor effective adoption by subsidiaries, activate corrective actions if necessary, conduct regular audits, and develop improvement plans for third-party warehouse operationsOversee insurance coverage related to stocks and risks associated with transportation, installation, and storage of productsMonitor achievement of service level agreements with national logistics partners (branches) and proactively activate quality performance improvement processesEnsure high-quality levels of installation activities by monitoring feedback KPIs from the market, auditing activities, training, and certification of installation techniciansLead projects to improve environmental, social, and governance (ESG) outcomes by reducing the environmental impact of transportation and installation activitiesAbout YouQualifications - MD in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.Required Skills15+ Years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related area at a global level with exposure to international logistics operations7+ years of experience in global logistics5+ years of experience in B2B logistics Last Mile B2C shipment for premium brand5+ years in executive or directive roleStrong experience in managing shipments/deliveries of high-tech assets, and solutionsProficiency in managing warehouse operations and overseeing inbound/outbound logistics flowsIn-depth knowledge and application of lean methodologies for process improvement (Lean Kaizen skills)Knowledge of export management procedures and regulations (AEO certification is a plus)Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, cost reduction projects, and financial planningEffective negotiation skills for managing transportation contractsProficiency in English, both written and spokenAdvanced use of MS Office, Power BI, SAPStrong analytical, project management, and problem-solving capabilitiesKnowledge of international transportation, customs duties regulation, storage contracts, and insurancePreferred Skills - Experience in or a proven interest in the fitness industry is highly desirable, along with excellent account management/solution selling/strategic thinking/relationship skills.Technogym is an Equal Opportunities EmployerTechnogym is an equal opportunities employer.
