This role is crucial for optimizing time spent on-site, improving communication between Grunfos and the shipyard, and enhancing our reverse engineering processes. You will be the primary point of contact for shipyards during commissioning activities, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.Your main responsibilities:Plan and organize commissioning activities at the shipyard.Serve as the interface between Grunfos and the shipyard before, during, and after commissioning.Report issues internally and ensure the closure and evaluation of projects.Foster client relationships and streamline communication.Collaborate on reverse engineering efforts and improve as-built documentation.Support technicians during commissioning activities and coordinate their work.Manage reports, spare parts, and materials needed on-site.Oversee warranty processes and ensure project completion.Act as the safety representative on-site and manage commissioning costs.Periodically review commissioning costs and analyze variances with the Sales team.Your background:We imagine that you have:Experience in planning and organizing commissioning activities.Strong communication skills to interface effectively with shipyards and internal teams.Ability to report issues and manage project evaluations.Experience in reverse engineering and improving documentation.Skills to support and coordinate technicians' work.Knowledge of managing reports, spare parts, and materials.Understanding of warranty processes and cost management.Safety management experience on-site.Collaborative skills to work with the Sales team on cost analysis.What’s in it for you?You’ll be an invaluable part of our global leadership team, a diverse network of pioneers guiding others in seeing possibilities, not problems.
