Position Details
The Department of Pathology of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine is seeking a surgical pathologist to cover our expanding areas of service.
Qualifications:
* Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent and be AP or AP/CP Board-certified/eligible.
* Individuals will be required to obtain a medical license in the State of Illinois.
* Strong diagnostic skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong work ethic are essential.
* A record or potential for academic and scholarly accomplishments indicating commitment to an academic career is desirable.
The successful candidate will join a cohesive team of sub-specialized surgical pathologists who handle approximately 35,000 surgical specimens annually. Ample opportunities for clinical/translational research and multidisciplinary collaboration with investigators of the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center are available.

Salary and Benefits
This opportunity offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including:
* Competitive starting compensation between $159,000 – $985,945
