GAR (Global Accounts Receivable) is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Collections Analyst. The primary responsibility will be to manage and resolve receivables-related queries received from Amazon customers. As a Collections Analyst, you will support customers in resolving billing issues, reconciling accounts, and achieving monthly collection targets. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quick to learn, demonstrates strong ownership, and can earn trust with customers to facilitate timely payments.
Summary of Responsibilities
* Understand the Accounts Receivable process.
* Follow up with customers via email and phone to ensure timely payments.
* Maintain detailed records of correspondence and account updates, including aging, credits, collections, and miscellaneous differences.
* Collaborate with stakeholders (Billing, Finance, Legal, Tax, Customer Service) to resolve disputes and queries, maintaining good relationships.
* Monitor high-risk accounts and escalate challenges promptly.
* Identify and implement improvements to enhance customer experience.
* Streamline accounts receivable processes by identifying areas for improvement.
* Meet monthly productivity goals.
* Reconcile complex accounts with attention to detail.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or commerce (B. Com).
* At least 2 years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable, accounts receivable (collections), or general ledger.
* Experience in cash application and collections for at least 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA or equivalent.
* Additional 2 years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable, accounts receivable (collections), or general ledger.
* Further experience in cash application and collection for 2+ years.
