Position: Head Bartender
Location: Conrad Chia Laguna, Sardinia
Job Type: Full time
Responsibilities:
1. Provide knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods.
2. Ensure proper pouring, mixing, and blending of drinks.
3. Cashing up.
4. Serve drinks to guests, along with filling orders for the Food and Cocktail Servers.
5. Supervise the bar service to offer a high-quality, efficient beverage service that adds to a superior guest experience.
6. Communicate with the kitchen and the guests alike ensuring a smooth and memorable experience.
7. Deliver a five-star luxury lifestyle service experience.
8. Lead the Bar team on day-to-day duties supporting the wider F&B Management team with daily operational tasks.
9. Conduct weekly training sessions on beverage pouring practice, cocktail mixing, and up-selling.
10. Create an attractive atmosphere through service and ambiance.
11. Ensure all purchases are processed accurately.
12. Daily preparation and closing of bar area, including stock management and cleaning duties.
13. Be attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to the needs of the guest and restaurant management team.
14. Control the bar during service, taking orders and issuing bills.
15. Coach new bartenders and bar backs following a training schedule.
16. Have an understanding of stock control and assist the Bar Manager in weekly stock taking.
17. Responsible for managing all Bar operations to deliver unrivalled guest experience, with a focus on creativity and authenticity.
18. Continually check that guest service standards are set, implemented, and monitored in line with set standards.
Qualifications:
1. Preferably a relevant degree in Business or Hospitality.
2. Must be of the minimum age to serve alcohol in line with local legislative requirements.
3. Personal license is desirable.
4. College Degree in Hotel Management.
5. Strong abilities spoken and written in Italian and English are required.
