Adecco Life Science, a specialized division of the Adecco Group, is seeking a Sourcing Manager for a client company operating in the design and construction of modules, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers for the pharmaceutical sector. Job Responsibilities and Tasks: Supplier base development and optimization, prequalification, and management to ensure cost-effective supply with consistent quality and acceptable service & delivery levels. Identifies, develops, and implements regional sourcing strategies to optimize the supply base in Europe, aiming to reduce total delivered cost, mitigate headwinds, and improve security of supply and consistency of quality. Understands technical specifications, product performance requirements, manufacturing processes, and user expectations. Communicates and collaborates among related function teams to effectively resolve purchasing issues and minimize interruptions to project objectives. Develops contract strategies and effectively negotiates key commercial and supply positions to benefit company business requirements and goals. Stays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories and provides guidance and recommendations to the Purchasing team to support margin and top-line growth. Demonstrates strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Qualifications and Skills Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field. More than 5 years of experience in procurement in the engineering, automation, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry. Prior experience in industrial or equipment manufacturing and familiarity with the supply base in one or more fields in Europe, such as piping, valves, instruments, construction vendors, etc. International working experience (either academic or in international working environments). Fluent English is a must. Demonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skills. Proven track record of driving a structured, result-oriented negotiation process and achieving outstanding negotiation results. Working Hours: Full-time from Monday to Friday with the possibility of some days of remote working. Employment Terms: CCNL for the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sector; level and RAL will be commensurate with the candidate's actual experience. Permanent contract directly with the company.
