Job Overview
We are seeking a responsible and proactive Night Manager to oversee the night-time operations of our hotel. You will maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring guest satisfaction during night-time hours.
You will work with the front office team to provide excellent service for our guests, continuously refining service and guest management skills in accordance with our company philosophy and operating standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Manage and coordinate all activities during night-time hours, including front desk operations, security, room service, housekeeping, and maintenance;
* Address any guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction;
* Check the cash register of various departments, correcting discrepancies and reporting them to the administrative department via email;
* Care for guests, perform check-in and check-out operations according to department standards and procedures;
* Produce complete nightly reports, including occupancy rates, revenue summaries, and incident reports;
* Maintain professional and ethical relationships with guests, suppliers, and colleagues;
* Communicate effectively with daytime management and other departments to ensure operational continuity;
* Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments;
* Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fire alarms, or other safety concerns.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry;
* Strong leadership and communication skills;
* Ability to work independently and make decisions;
* Excellent problem-solving abilities;
* Fluent in English and Italian;
* Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software.
