Apply now and join us in shaping the future of space.We are looking for the Head of Electrical and Electronics Engineering group to join our Technology Engineering team.In this pivotal role, you will manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the achievement of corporate objectives in terms of quality, timelines, and costs.Key Responsibilities:Supervise, lead, and develop a team of Electrical Electronics (EE) engineers.Manage autonomously technical and engineering tasks and project responsibilities assignment based on team member's skills and according to the company priorities.Manage workloads of the team and ensure a collaborative and productive work environment.Manage autonomously the talent acquisition, recruitment and onboarding of new hires.Identify growth opportunities, training needs and promote the professional development career.Accountable for the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and performances, also through the coordination of team retrospectives, lessons learned, and return of experience.Processes/Procedures/Standard definition, improvement and maintenance. Scouting, identification and selection of tools for the EE discipline. Define, maintain, monitor and disseminate the EE group KPIs.Define team and individual objectives of group members, disseminate within the team and monitor.Continuous feedback, yearly appraisal and salary review management.Liaising with PM and Project Leader to support project activities planning and execution, ensuring EE group engineering capability is available with respect to the project needs.Act as the technical owner for any topic related to the EE engineering discipline, including technical specifications, technical and operational risks, and project goals.Oversee the design, development, and validation of complex electrical and electronic systems for space applications.Consult with suppliers, customers, and external partners to define requirements and provide technical support.Identify and proactively communicate technical and programmatic risks and challenges, developing mitigation strategies and implementing effective solutions.Required Skills:Proven experience in managing technical teams and complex projects.In-depth knowledge of space industry regulations, safety standards, and applicable certifications in the EE discipline.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Education:Master's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.Professional Experience:At least 10 years of experience in leadership roles within the electrical electronics discipline in the aerospace sector.Language:Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
