The Clinical Dietitian, as a Medical Nutrition Specialist, is a member of the interdisciplinary health professional team responsible for the nutrition care and education of patients. The Clinical Dietitian initiates a cost-effective medical nutrition therapy care process comprised of patient assessment, the development of patient-centered, goal-focused care plans, implementation and evaluation of the plans, and ongoing monitoring. Nutrition care plans are outcome-focused, incorporate evidence-based practice, and emphasize health promotion and disease prevention.
About You

* Completion of an approved Dietetic internship required
* Licensed with Nova Scotia College of Dietitians and Nutritionists required
* Eligible for membership with the Dietitians of Canada
* Demonstrated accountability
