A leading multinational company in the field of automation and robotics, it is looking for IT support based in Italy that will have to follow users both in Modena and Milan.
Descrizione
The ICT Supporter delivers the IT services according to the service catalogue's and provides technical support and
assistance to internal employees using computer hardware, standard desktop applications and software
applications. The ICT Supporter will troubleshoot and conduct problem determination to identify a problem source
and resolution and works closely with the different support teams. This position will be based in Modena, and
he/she will need to travel to Milan on a monthly basis:
First level support (on-location and /or via remote support)
Installation, maintenance and administration of PC's, notebooks, and mobile devices
Installation, maintenance, and administration of peripherals
Responsible for proper cabling, patching, and mounting of servers and network components.
Handles the identity and access management.
Acceptance and resolving of hardware and software problems with the user via the central ticket tool.
Dealing with questions and proposed changes of the users via the central incident management tool
Seek of necessary alternatives
Forward fault messages and questions to responsible place (2nd. Support or further Support)
Document the settlement of the central knowledge database.
Cooperation in the ICT Projects
Support in case of security, networks, or server problems
Provide an extensive IT induction to new starters.
Provide basic user training - Windows, E-Mail, Office 365, Telephone etc.
Practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment.
Chase leavers equipment including telephones, laptops, and other equipment.
Profilo del Candidato
A proven IT know-How with IT-Support experience
Experience with global service desk organizations and processes would be helpful.
Understands the ITIL Framework or willing to attend a training
Good knowledge with current Microsoft products (Windows, Office, Outlook, Teams, etc.) as well as working environment
(Workstation, notebook, printer, monitor, mobile devices etc).
English language skills
Structured cabling fundamentals
Network principals including IP addressing and routing
Microsoft AD user management and access control
Willingness to provide support and presence at both offices (Modena/Milan)
