Sales Applications Engineer
Desio, Italy
Our Photonics division is seeking a Sales Application Engineer, based in Desio Italy. An exciting opportunity to join our Commercial function and work with our innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the sales team in persuasion activities.
2. Assist customers in understanding product capabilities and finding the best fit for their needs.
3. Communicate and demonstrate our value proposition in collaboration with sales teams to win business. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
4. Develop prototypes based on customer needs and in coordination with the sales team and conduct demonstrations.
5. Ensure applications meet the needs and preferences of intended customers.
6. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, and launch new products and applications.
7. Assist with prototyping, costing, testing, and validating new applications or products.
KPIs and Metrics:
1. Project conversion rate
2. Number of technical demonstrations
3. Quality of technical demonstrations
Skills and Experience:
1. Education - Possess a B.S. in one or more engineering disciplines.
2. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers.
3. Ability to learn new technologies and adapt them for new applications quickly and effectively.
4. Results-driven and customer-focused, self-motivated and able to work well in a team.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
