For a 5* luxury hotel in the heart of Venice, they are looking for a Reservation Manager. You will be the main lead in creating a positive experience for our guests during the reservations activities, ensuring that all team members' interactions with the guests are authentic and memorable.
Your responsibilities include:
* Coordinating the activity of the Reservations Department.
* Motivating the reservations team in order to improve sales and quality of services.
* Making sure the team is fully informed of all hotel’s rates.
* Working closely with the revenue team to implement pricing strategy of the property and manage day-to-day optimal room occupancy.
* Ensuring a good relationship with the front office department.
* Promoting and overseeing activities of up-selling and cross-selling.
* Staying updated about hotel services, guest needs, and special events.
* Ensuring policies and procedures compliance.
* A unique personality and a true passion for hospitality.
* Proven experience in the role.
* Familiarity with Opera PMS.
* Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges and complaint resolution finesse.
* A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
* Versatility in handling various work scenarios.
