Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated EHS Manager to join our team. The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our company's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and compliance with all applicable regulations. Responsibilities Implements and integrates Company EHS programs and develops facility-specific procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory and Company policies. Actively participates in the development of EHS program components: operational procedures, work instructions, training material, standards, etc. Develops and implements facility-level EHS management systems to maintain compliance, environmental protection, and safe operating conditions. Integrates environmental, health, and safety management systems with engineering and program documentation and schedules to maintain regulatory compliance and safe operating conditions. Compiles process safety information for each covered process. Uses a structured processes scorecard to measure and communicate EHS performance with both leading results and indicators. Tracks and regularly reports the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives. Uses ELS methodology to drive continuous improvements in Environmental and Safety programs. Evaluates new environmental, health, and safety technologies and processes to develop strategies and tactics for reducing workplace and operational hazards and environmental impacts. Training, Resource & Counsel Serves as a resource to the site manager regarding EHS matters and acts as the daily point of contact for all EHS issues. Assists line and staff management in understanding EHS regulations and standards, including guidance on handling EHS compliance, inspections, and citations. Organizes and controls the EHS functions of the site(s) to ensure that an effective accident prevention program is maintained, and that appropriate measures are taken to comply with Corporate, EHS, and related safety and environmental policies, agencies, and directives. Ensures that the company stays in compliance with company & client policies and procedures as well as state laws. Implements environmental, health, and safety education and training to support regulatory and business requirements. Compliance & Safety Programs Manages Job Safety Analysis program and EHS PPE compliance program. Maintains the integrated EHS management system (ISO 45001 - ISO 14001). Maintains each facility's compliance records for permits. Reviews State and local regulation changes that impact permits and permit compliance. Identifies and evaluates hazardous conditions and practices and develops hazard control practices and programs. Maintains MSDS system. Conducts periodic inspections of plant machinery, equipment, and working conditions to ensure conformance to appropriate safety and sanitary standards and regulations. Ensures that all modifications to existing processes go through a pre-safety start-up review, management of change, and a process hazard analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Occupational Safety and Environmental Prevention Techniques. English skills are mandatory. 2 years of experience as a RSPP / ASPP. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards. Time management skills. Team working abilities. Critical thinking skills.
