Job Description SummaryWithin the Military Product Management Customer Support Organization, as On Site Customer Support Manager you will be deployed in Kuwait for a period of 3 years minimum and you will be responsible to manage and oversee the maintenance activities performed by the Avio Aero deployed team located within the Kuwait propulsion facility at the Main Operating Base (MOB). In this role you will be a representative of Avio Aero and act on behalf of the Military Consortium in liaising with the Customer for any service issues.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesManage the on site team at all levels, also caring about its growth and developmentManage and oversee the maintenance activities performed by the Avio Aero on site teamOversee and manage the provisions of all Technical and Logistic activities through the on site teamLiaise and participate at operational/functional meetings with CustomerContinuously identify opportunities for improvement and service enhancementEnsure compliance to relevant airworthiness regulation specifications (Technical Airworthiness Authority)Supervise and ensure EHS compliance of the Kuwait propulsion facility and raise any maintenance requirementsRaise and monitor any quality issues affecting Operations and implement any subsequent mitigating action related to Quality ManagementManage all required documentation related to the deployment of the teamIssue and control all relevant documentation within local OperationsSupport and integrate the Engine Field Service activities as necessaryAct as Certifying Staff as necessaryQualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering or a high school diploma with previous solid experience in maintenance activities on aircraft propulsion systemsGood knowledge of military propulsion systems, aerospace service and Customer operational needsCapable of Technical ReportingGood knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and working around aircraftGood knowledge of contract commitments and implications on KPI’sBasic knowledge of availability service and balance with inventory and costExcellent communication and persuasion skills at all levelsStrong ability to influence others and lead small teamsGood knowledge of airworthiness / flight safety regulations and complianceBasic understanding of Fleet Management, modelling, forecasting and reportingExcellent problem solving skillsFluent written and spoken Italian and EnglishWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredEligible for NATO Security ClearanceDesired CharacteristicsExperience in multinational /multicultural environmentGood communication skillsWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
