SUMMARY OF ROLE
This role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a company’s finances. The postholder will be involved in all controlling and accounting functions as a member of a Regional financial team with the main focus on Italy, Romania and Bulgaria with a high level of cooperation with local accounting teams.
The postholder will be a Junior Financial Controller, who will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasts preparation, financial risk management, and in development of internal control policies and procedures.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage all aspects of the Financial function with the main focus on Italy, Romania and Bulgaria.
* Control and guarantee adoption of Group Policies into local companies
* Coordinate accounting team resources (internal and external) in preparing monthly financial reporting
* Prepare monthly Cashflow reporting (forecast and actual exceptions analysis)
* Complete all mandatory reporting (statutory, reporting package, ESG, internal, etc.)
* Oversee local company activities related to cash collections.
* Develop and implement into ERP cost controlling model for Italian manufacturing plant
* Manage debtor insurance, invoice discounting and manage working capital.
* Manage external consultant (tax expert, Auditor, tax inspector, etc.)
* Manage and monitor all stock evaluation & stock performance KPI.
* Supervise all aspects of tax, VAT for both imports and exports and assist tax consultants in an accurate and timely fashion.
* Manage Insurance policies, utilities, etc.
* Process all budgeting/forecasting activities.
* Control and manage data consistency process in the Companies
* Any other duties deemed necessary by management in the Region.
OTHER INFO
* 30% of working time will eventually allocated to European Finance project – schedule will be adjusted accordingly with Group necessity (special projects- assist Group Internal audit on specific requests).
* Candidate must be allowed to travel abroad (5/6 weeks abroad on yearly basis as normal company demand). Driving license is a must.
* 1-2 days smart working after trial period is an option
SCOPE OF POSITION
The role does not have line management responsibility but will have hybrid support from other business units.
The role will have dual reporting lines, administrative (Country Manager, Regional Manager, etc.) and functional (Financial Structure of the Group, including Regional Financial Manager, Head of Finance Europe, etc.) and will work independently across all Operational & Commercial Functions in the Region with the main focus on Italy, Romania and Bulgaria.

This position is located at Garbagnate (Lecco) Italy.
