About the Role: This role will generate revenue/profit margin selling AIG insurance, services, or products directly to consumers, organizations, or third parties including brokers, agents, or other distribution channels. It’s expected that the execution of the above activities will be managed mainly on the field, by visiting partners and meeting clients to manage and increase the assigned portfolio and/or perform training activities on the products.
Responsibilities:
1. Implement a distribution strategy on transactional and alternative channels.
2. Market the new SME combined modular product in various geographical locations to maximize uptake and ensure digital channel adoption.
3. Manage and coordinate country product leads and understand local market distribution requirements.
4. Direct, guide, and manage Sales Managers to prioritize initiatives and meet production targets.
5. Coordinate Profit Centre strategies in line with channel strategies.
6. Validate Country Broker Business plans and assist in developing others as required.
7. Drive initiatives in NPD and Innovation in Product, Service, Operations, and sales.
8. Generate program growth ideas to maximize sales opportunities while meeting target loss ratio.
9. Manage and expand MGA, agents, and bancassurance distribution models with dedicated sales plans.
10. Drive the AIG value proposition and enhance exposure of the new SME-specific product offering.
11. Collaborate with the underwriting function to leverage local distribution opportunities.
12. Develop and build the profitability and long-term sustainability of distribution channels and partnerships.
13. Set and achieve sales targets, both overall and by line of business.
14. Leverage current sales and marketing practices across different geographies.
15. Provide hands-on sales expertise to establish, expand, and develop distribution channels.
Business Planning:
1. Develop plans to improve portfolio & account performance and strengthen relationships with key brokers and partners.
2. Engage country leads to agree on GWP growth strategies.
3. Take charge of the business case development of new digital partners.
Marketing:
1. Lead the development of a comprehensive product marketing strategy.
2. Develop propositions for prioritized customer segments, such as the SME sector.
3. Adjust the marketing of the new digital platform to specific geographical areas.
4. Establish regular monitoring of key marketing materials.
Staff Development:
1. Work with local distribution team staff to build technical capacity.
2. Support continuous training & development of Distribution team and SME sales.
Audit and Compliance:
1. Ensure compliance with existing local regulations and company standards.
2. Conduct self-audits and implement all Compliance and Audit recommendations.
