Our team is responsible for the assembly of high-quality and innovative products.Partner with the bestPlant-SQE is responsible to collect, assess and prioritize Quality/HSE/Technical claims from Manufacturing/Logistics operations related to Supplier’s delivered products, driving Commodities SQEs for prompt and effective risk mitigations, investigations and corrective actions.Main goal is to expedite and support continuous improvement of the Supplier’s Base Quality level, reducing both escaping defects and associated Cost of Quality, while assuring business continuity for the Plant needs.As Sr Supplier Quality Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:Act as unique entry point SQE for the BH plant needsAttend plant production/quality meetingsCarry out periodical review of Supplier’s critical to Quality NCsEarly engagement of Commodities SQEs in Product Quality Improvement requested by the PlantDrive cross-functional initiatives for manufacturability improvement/cost saving of supplied productsGuarantying collaboration between functions and locations to ensure compliance to engineering and customer specificationsFacilitate disposition for Suppliers Deviation Request (SDR) critical to business continuityFacilitate Return to Vendors of defective items for repair/replacementSupport Quality Strategy deploymentFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalentHave significant experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or QualityHave proven leadership capabilitiesHave proven experience in acting and driving corrective actionsAbility to read and understand technical drawings and product specificationsTechnical knowledge in one or more of the following areas will be considered a plus: welding, heat treatment, destructive non-destructive testing, machiningKnowledge of ISO 9001/9100 requirementsEnglish fluentExcellent communication and presentation skillsBe able to travel (up to 30%) domestic and internationallyWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
