We are looking for a LMDh Project Management to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting hierarchically to the Head of Motorsport and interacting transversally with all functions involved in the program in a matrix organizational structure.
You will be responsible for ensuring the respect of the Project Targets related to timing, costs, performance, and compliance. You will coordinate all the different company functions and External Service Provider(s) who contribute to the deployment of the program with a 360° view of the activities. You will support the homologation process by collecting the documents coming from IMSA/FIA/ACO and may also act as Chief Engineer for LSC at the track events.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Conducting recurring project-team meetings with relevant participants from the divisions and external service providers when needed.
* Planning and tracking project milestones and updating project timing and deliverables.
* Coordinating activities of various departments (design, R&D, procurement, finance, sales, marketing, communications, and media, etc.) according to project milestones and deliverables.
* Coordinating activities with different external service-providers to meet project milestones and deliverables, including but not limited to:
o Chassis supplier (e.g., LIGIER)
o Engine supplier (e.g., Autotecnica)
o Electronics supplier (e.g., PowerOn)
* Coordinating the planning, organization, and execution of LMDh track/indoor testing activity with the Racing Team according to the time plan, including organizing necessary touchpoints and preparatory and wrap-up meetings.
* Attending Technical Working Group(s) to provide feedback and collected data to sporting authorities, analyzing technical and sporting aspects proactively and liaising with internal departments for required expertise as needed.
* Promoting clear and open communication between Squadra Corse, other Lamborghini departments involved in the program, and external service suppliers to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
* Implementing task responsibilities matrix (RASIC) and suitable reporting methods.
* Collecting information to support the homologation process such as documents, dossier, feedback, homologation/BOP tests with IMSA/FIA/ACO for the LMDh.
* Acting in a transparent and respectful way at all times, ensuring compliance with the code of conduct of the Company.
About you
* University degree in Mechanical or Aeronautic Engineering.
* At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Technical Responsible or Performance Engineer in a Motorsport Environment.
* R&D Automotive background.
* Fully proficient in English; other languages (including German) are a plus.
* Technical knowledge in Motorsport.
* Knowledge of Motorsport Technical Regulations.
* Problem-solving attitude.
* Initiative and proactive attitude.
* Results-oriented.
* Team-oriented culture with good interpersonal skills.
