We are seeking a social media marketing specialist with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, identifying audiences, collaborating with a marketing team, and implementing organic social media campaigns that generate demand for software products. Experience in the financial services or trading sector is a plus.
Job Description
The successful candidate will develop a thorough understanding of our products, customers, market/industry trends, and competition. Create and maintain a strong online presence for our growing company. As a Social Media Marketing Specialist, your role will be to implement a 360-degree online organic social media marketing strategy across all of our accounts and web properties. This includes:
* Building and executing a comprehensive organic media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
* Generating, editing, publishing, and sharing daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections with traders, responding to questions, and managing our community.
•Craft compelling and brand-aligned copy for social media posts that resonates with our audience and drives engagement.
* Optimizing company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content.
* Managing all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community. Engaging with users by answering questions, directing them to the appropriate departments for clarification, and providing them with a value-added experience.
* Creating and managing editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
* Continuously improving our social media presence by capturing and analyzing social data/metrics, insights, and best practices. Creating weekly reports to review this data and acting on the information to increase community size and engagement.
* Collaborating with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions including live streaming and special events on our web properties and partner sites.
Requirements
* Experience: 2+ years in social media management or a related field.
* Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
* Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) to create visually appealing posts.
* Knowledge of social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Metricool) to streamline content management.
* Strong communication skills with attention to detail and creativity.
* Plus: Experience in specific industries (e.g., tech, finance, e-commerce) or a background in content creation for a digital-first brand is a bonus.
