The Retail Merchandising Planner is responsible for planning and monitoring product assortment strategies (PVM Price Volume Mix) and acts according to a top-down logic (Geographies/Channels) in accordance with company turnover objectives. It deals with seasonal planning by integrating the bottom-up logic of the individual Sales Point, in agreement with the manager and with the Buying logic. The Role has 3 main objectives: Support the Manager in developing a product assortment strategy that guarantees the correct balance between the Consumer's expectations and the Brand and turnover and profitability objectives of the Company. Support the Manager in the development of seasonal planning (ensure that the right quantity of goods is available in the store and is correctly distributed among the price ranges) based on historical performances, forecasts, and the development of the collections. Analyze and monitor performance trends in order to support the Manager in developing correct short-term and long-term planning. Qualifications Supports the Manager in the development of the Strategic Merchandising Plan through a framework that takes into account the Brand's priorities, market data, channels and consumer patterns. Collects and interprets historical data and current trends to implement the plan in a coherent and effective way. Supports the Manager in planning, taking into account the Buying logic, the Company Strategy, and the commercial needs and company profitability. Supports the Manager in verifying the alignment of planning and exhibition capacity of sales points, with a view to maximizing sales and profitability per square meter. In the Sales Campaign, monitor the assortment defined according to the buying logic, and the consistency between orders and planning. Collaborate, in synergy with the offices involved, to the WorldWide implementation of the product planning and assortment guidelines. Performs relevant analyzes in relation to the monitoring of product trends. Provides presentations and documents to summarize the trends and performances of specific categories, to support the decision-making process. Monitors market activity, deals with the collection and analysis of Retail feedback and promotes a benchmarking activity with respect to the external market and to competitors also through visits to stores. Deepens and keeps his knowledge of the collection and seasonal projects constantly updated. Promotes the development of role learning through proactive, team and digital activities, aimed at innovation and improvement effectiveness/efficiency of its Responsibilities. Promotes, adopts and develops the use of digital technologies within its function in relation to both process management and relations with internal and external interlocutors involved in the business.
