STRATEGIC ADVISOR FOR TECH TRANSFER & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ABOUT FLUID WIRE ROBOTICS Fluid Wire Robotics (FWR) aims at breaking through the boundaries that limit the fields of use of robotics in harsh operational scenarios. Leveraging our proprietary fluid wire technology, FWRintroduces a next-generation approach to designing robotic arms for versatile deployment in any harsh environment, thereby avoiding the complexity, cost, and limitations of adapting traditional robotic arms for “improper” use in challenging environmental conditions. FWR’s high-performance robotic arms are tailored for versatile deployment in any harsh condition, such as those found in space, nuclear, subsea, explosive and other hostile environments. Quick Facts: Mission : Establish a new standard for high-performance robotics, delivering safer, more efficient solutions in extreme conditions without the heavy engineering burdens typical of hostile-environment robotics. Progress & Backing : Spin-off of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (founded in June 2024); secured a €1.2M seed round in 2024 led by sector focused VC investors, selected by ESA-BIC and NATO’s DIANA. Why FWR: Relevance : Demand for robust and safe robotics is surging across critical infrastructure sectors, including defense, energy, and space industries. FWR is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend. Scalable Innovation : Our modular and versatile “Fluid Wire” design is primed for quick adaptation to multiple use cases such as nuclear maintenance, in-orbit servicing, or subsea interventions. Rewards : Gain recognition in frontier technology while benefiting from a success-driven compensation model. Team : Being part of a young, dynamic, skilled and multidisciplinary team of founders supported by a renewed group of VC investors.
