We are looking for an Electrification Engineer to join Carraro R&D department.
You will be responsible for defining and developing advanced off-highway driveline architectures from a FW, SW and HW (mainly electric motors) point of view focusing electric/electronic aspect.
Starting from project requirements, development will focus on efficiency and productivity to obtain the best solution for the application.
What kind of topics will be addressed?
* Responsible for the project of the electronic aspects;
* Define electronic architecture;
* Define system requirements;
* Develop software to control the driveline;
* Support HIL/bench test;
* Cooperate with other functions during the definition of the product and development;
* Support at the Customer sites to solve problems;
* Produce technical documentation in line with the process requirements.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechatronic/Electric/Electronic Engineering;
* 3-5 years of experience in technical projects within the automotive sector;
* Skilled in high tech drivetrain control systems, traditional or electrified;
* Good knowledge of the C/C++ language oriented towards the development of embedded applications;
* Basic knowledge of embedded electronics;
* Knowledge of Eclipse environments, Matworks Matlab, Simulink;
* Knowledge of Amesim environment;
* Knowledge of CAN communication protocols and tools for CAN networks is appreciated;
* Functional Safety according to ISO 26262 or ISO 19014 or ISO 25119;
* V-cycle application;
* Definition of methodologies for functional testing;
* Model and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing;
* Prototype vehicle testing and track management;
* Good knowledge of the English language;
* Car license B;
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
