Your Impact as a Product Owner
We're seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team and develop valuable additions to our growing suite of products. You'll be responsible for defining product requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and cultivating relationships with stakeholders.
* Define product requirements through writing and prioritizing use cases.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce market-driving user experiences that solve customer needs and market problems.
* Write Agile-based epics/stories that conform to best practices, including acceptance criteria, positive and negative paths, etc.
* Manage product backlog, prioritize feature development, support execution plans, and ensure quality assurance following the roadmap.
* Partner with Product Managers, Development Teams, UX teams, and other stakeholders to understand customer requirements and envision new product solutions.
* Incorporate feedback and input from customers, partners, and teams on product requirements.
* Work with stakeholders to plan work for Development and QA and field engineering and deployments.
* Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.
* Gather customer feedback, run advisory sessions, UAT sessions, and measure/manage NPS post-launch.
* Analyze data to understand product performance/uptime/usage post-launch.
* Root cause product issues and manage customer expectations.
* Provide support to Implementation, Customer & Application Support teams.
* Partner on product documentation during the Go-to-Market process for new features.
* Operate in a highly matrixed, globally distributed organization.
* Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
* Clearly and effectively communicate roadmaps, product plans, project status updates, and timelines to internal stakeholder teams to ensure alignment and cross-group readiness.
* Assist with other Product Management responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For
You'll need to have:
* Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
* Experience as a Product Owner/Business Analyst/Technical Project Manager in a technical environment.
* Experience operating in an Agile & Lean/Kanban product dev environment, interacting with both hardware and software development processes.
Even Better If You Have...
* Knowledge in managing and building consumer electronic hardware/devices.
* Experience in creating superior user experiences for Mobile & Web-based products.
* Experience working with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) or working in an SOA environment (Service-oriented architecture).
* Understanding of Telematics.
* API (Application programming interface) or microservice specification knowledge.
* Experience performing data queries in databases, validating data quality, or working with SQL, JSON, and/or XML.
* Basic understanding of modern software development technologies and languages.
* Experience working in Wiki & JIRA.
* Hold an advanced engineering degree (EE, CS, ME, similar) with high technical aptitude or extensive practical experience working with IoT solutions.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
