The Rotary Wing division has a fleet of more than 40 helicopters and 36 operative bases, mainly operating in Italian regions but also covering international operations. Reporting to the Accountable Managers, this role is responsible for overseeing the company's security operations, ensuring the prevention of illicit acts against the organization's interests and employees. This role involves compliance with aviation security requirements and collaboration with internal departments to maintain a secure and efficient work environment. Responsibilities: Ensure the adequacy and compliance of measures and procedures adopted in the Air Carrier Security Program with the requirements of both supranational and national aviation security regulations. Implement, develop, and verify all provisions set forth in the Air Carrier Security Program. Ensure that any classified security information is managed in accordance with Commission Decision (EU, EURATOM) 2015/444 of March 13, 2015, concerning the protection of classified information. Prevent illicit acts against the company's interests and employees, ensuring the safety and security of all stakeholders. Assign priorities and monitor tasks related to security, ensuring effective coordination with relevant departments. Conduct internal investigations into incidents or security notifications. Oversee and ensure compliance with airport security requirements. Issue hazard reports, notices, and circulars to inform and guide internal stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments on information security processes to enhance organizational resilience. The Security Manager must have an adequate understanding of: The main legal obligations in the air transport sector and how to comply with them. The fundamental principles of the Security Management System. Principles of management and corporate organization, including the development of policies and corporate culture in the field of Aviation Security. Risk Management methodologies and processes applicable to Aviation Security. Quality Management and Control methodologies applicable to Aviation Security. Reporting System methodologies applicable to Aviation Security. The use of security equipment, including its limitations and operational capabilities. Required Qualifications and Certifications: A secondary school diploma (upper secondary education). Proficiency in English at a level not lower than B2 or Level 4 or higher according to the ICAO Language Proficiency Rating Scale (T.E.A. certification or equivalent). A Category A12 training certificate from the Training and Certification Manual, obtained before submission to CAA for appointment as Security Manager. Attendance at a Security Management System (SeMS) course provided by national or international bodies/organizations. Required Experience: Candidates for the role of Security Manager must have at least five years of work experience in the technical-operational security sector within air transport. This requirement is reduced to three years if the candidate has obtained a first-level university degree or higher. Salary Range: 50 - 65K Euro.
