This position involves conducting testing activities on electrical panels while adhering to AIC's standard processes, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role includes commissioning activities at the final customer's site, working closely with the PLC software programming team to ensure the correct functioning of automation and power panels. Tasks include the control of low-voltage AC and DC drives on projects for the steel industry both in Italy and abroad.
The position involves 70% on-site work and 30% fieldwork at the customer’s site.
This role is part of AIC Group's Electrical & Automation Division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Testing and Inspection:
* Perform tests on industrial automation systems based on PLCs, verifying the proper wiring of panels, parameterization of drives and PLCs, integration with other systems, and optimal performance.
Analysis and Troubleshooting:
* Analyze test results to identify defects or anomalies, collaborating with the technical team to develop and implement corrective solutions.
Service and Maintenance:
* Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of AIC drives and systems (AC/DC).
* Fault diagnosis and corrective/preventive interventions both on-site and remotely.
Technical Support:
* On-site technical analysis and problem identification.
* Participation in internal testing of supplied systems.
Documentation:
* Prepare detailed reports on tests and inspections, including results, conclusions, and recommendations for improvements, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Customer Focus and Sales Support:
* Ensure customer satisfaction by proposing improvements and optimizations.
* Collaborate with the sales team to expand services and identify new opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Technical diploma or degree in Industrial Automation Engineering.
* At least 2 years of experience in field service and/or electrical panel testing activities.
* Solid knowledge and proven experience with low-voltage drives (Low Voltage Drives).
* Proficiency in using major Office software tools.
* Willingness to travel for short or medium-term assignments (in Italy and abroad) or for daily on-site technical activities.
* Proactive customer relationship management skills, even in critical situations.
* Ability to work both independently and in a team, even under pressure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and precision in work.
