YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare and update the production plan to reflect customer orders, delivery deadlines, stock levels, and production capacities.
* Collaborate with production, logistics, and purchasing to effectively plan and monitor production capacity, adapting to operational needs.
* Work closely with the Sales team to ensure customer orders are scheduled efficiently, enhancing communication to address potential issues swiftly.
* Allocate customer orders across production weeks to maximize operational efficiency and reduce downtime while considering demand fluctuations.
* Monitor and manage backlogs, collaborating with sales and production teams to adjust priorities and maintain customer satisfaction.
* Identify deviations in the production process promptly and implement corrective measures to ensure consistent production quality and efficiency.
* Develop and propose ramp-up curves and production scenarios to effectively respond to changing demands and optimize production workflows.
* Facilitate effective communication and cooperation among sales, operations, and purchasing teams to streamline processes and enhance overall performance.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written); knowledge of German and Italian is considered a plus.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at the executive level.
* 3+ years as program or project planning, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
* Deep knowledge of production planning and ERP systems.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Ability to collaborate effectively in a “matrix” collaboration among departments.
* Deep knowledge of MS Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word…).
