Summary: Develop and execute sourcing strategy for fabrication category globally in order to optimize total cost and lead time and leverage the volume of different CoE’s. Responsible to coordinate sourcing activities together with Strategic Buyers at the CoE’s for global category, Fabrication & Model System, lead major negotiations with suppliers globally in cooperation with Strategic Buyers at the CoE’s. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify CoE’s supply chain and project needs. Participate in negotiations of contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing and lead time, quality standards. Stay updated on market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for cost improvement and innovations. Keep key stakeholders updated. Ensure compliance with legal, ESH, regulatory and company standards, market required certifications in supplier selection, contracting and ongoing management. Strategic sourcing & Strategic category management for fabrication & model System. Identify new competitive suppliers and evaluate current supplier performance. Conduct supplier risk assessment. Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers. Drive cost-saving initiatives. Lead the development of new suppliers and related sourcing activities for global category. Run global RFQs. Support project team with best cost to win projects. Requirements: Previous expertise linked to fabrication, mechanical application to system/model solutions related to Cavotec complex projects. Familiarity with supplier evaluation and selection methodologies, including risk assessment and performance management. Good knowledge of sourcing best practices, sourcing processes, and supply chain management principles. Hands-on attitude with the ability to build consensus and drive changes. Strong sense of responsibility and good ability to work under stress. Major degree in Mechanical Engineering. 10-15 years or above professional experience in sourcing and category management. Global business/market savings for fabrication and mechanical applications. Proven track record in managing global supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and delivery savings within global companies. Ability to work in a cross-functional, global team environment. Keep in pulse of global material trends. Well-rounded with commercial experience and Engineer BA (or above) background. Experience from working for a global international company.
