In order to support our growing business, we are looking for a FP&A Specialist to reinforce our team in our Milan offices.
Position Overview
The FP&A Specialist will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, monitoring budgets and forecasts, and supporting key decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will include sales analysis, contributing to financial reporting, and overseeing budget and business performance. Key Responsibilities
Finance:
Monitor and track budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the sales, marketing, and product departments, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals.
Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability and effective allocation of resources.
Assist in the preparation of financial scenarios and simulations to guide strategic decisions, including pricing, product launches, and market expansion.
Provide financial guidance to cross-functional teams and support long-term financial planning.
Analysis:
Analyze financial and sales data to track performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
Conduct variance analysis, comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts, and provide actionable insights.
Develop and prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
Collaborate with teams across marketing, sales, and operations to analyze the financial impact of business decisions and propose data-driven recommendations.
Accounting:
Coordinate with external accountants, providing all required documents for accurate financial reporting and compliance, while overseeing the month-end and year-end closings and ensuring that invoices, expenses, and revenues align with the company’s budget.
Collaborate with tax consultants to ensure accurate filing of Intrastat reports and VAT returns for France, the UK, and US corporate tax compliance.
Oversee supplier and customer payments and monitor incoming payments to ensure efficient cash flow management.
Handle the creation of outgoing invoices (EU and US), ensuring all details are accurate, complete, and in line with business requirements.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in both consulting and administrative management.
Experience ideally within the beauty, eyewear, watch or consumer goods industries.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and keen attention to detail, with the capability to communicate complex financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
Curious and proactive mindset with a hands-on approach and a strong interest in financial trends and business dynamics.
Fluency in English and Italian; French is a plus.
